MAKing AN IMPACT IN CENTRAL AMERICA

In Guatemala, most families live on as little as $1 per day. At the same time, food insecurity and health concerns plague everyday life — making it difficult to focus on other enriching pursuits.

e3kids international is chiefly engaged in equipping kids and families with hope and resources for better health. Establishing ground support and continuously assessing needs is part of our mission — equipping and empowering Guatemalans.

By partnering with Hope of Life International, a non-profit ministry located in Zacapa, Guatemala, we work alongside long-term missionaries who are closely involved in strategically allocating resources in the most effective way.

We regularly deploy teams to work with the missionaries — we’re always in need of volunteers and qualified medical personnel to distribute food bags and hygiene kits, engage in baby rescues, and setup pop-up medical clinics. Several weeks before our teams visit the campus, we are briefed on what type of work is most critical.

After rescuing children and families from remote villages, our teams offer relief assistance to those previously rescued by providing emotional, spiritual, and educational support at the Hope of Life campus.

Hope of Life supports children and families who have been abandoned, isolated or orphaned throughout their lifetime as long as they can arrange independent transportation to the campus’ facilities.

From Hope of Life International:

“As we continue to race towards the future, we are blessed by the continual growth of Hope of Life. To date, we have been able to impact millions of lives and become a catalyst for change in the country of Guatemala through planting churches, leadership development, teaching values and principles, and creating sustainable economy through income producing projects.

Additionally, programs like sponsorship are facilitating change for thousands of children each year- encouraging them to become valuable members of society.

Water wells, family homes, vocational school, and churches are just a few of the ways that the projects we build are investing in these communities.”

We deliver food bags and hygiene kits, along with providing hygiene education and pop-up medical clinics to nearby impoverished villages. To maintain our promises, we routinely check-in on the families we support to foster a healthy and open relationship between the missionaries and community members.
