Access to education works

We equip and empower schools to educate students in great need, helping every child achieve their dreams and escape severe poverty. Providing education for one student can raise an entire family out of severe poverty.

Fourteen years ago, e3kids partnered with Grace and Ngoa Mazera, founders of the Royal Kids School (RKS) in Mikindani, to provide sponsorship for their orphaned and impoverished students. Our partnership also led to helping them build their school through various building projects. e3kids has empowered RKS in so many ways, and thanks to your financial support and volunteerism, we’re now growing and discovering schools in our global community with similar needs.

Many students, outside of being sponsored by e3kids, would not continue their education. Without a high school diploma, they would be at risk of severe poverty, working highly laborious jobs and earning less than $2 a day.

Our sponsorships helps fund tuition and ancillary needs — awarded regardless of ability to pay. This help reach child overcome tremendous barriers that could otherwise (for example, a hungry stomach) to later become global citizens that seek to give back, too.

The schools we work with raise strong leaders with moral character, while developing the gifts of each students — academically, spiritually, physically and socially.

We believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of severe poverty.

Our goals for the near future…

Construction
We hope to continue to execute several construction projects help to create a better learning environments. e3kids has funded dorms, classrooms, kitchens, dining halls, bathrooms, libraries, science labs, and water wells in the past.

  • 2024 - building desks and chalkboard for a new partner school.

  • 2024-2025 - proposed school building project.

Sponsorship — increase our total sponsorship by $3000/month by 2024
Every child should have the opportunity to receive an education.  Every child in Kenya who goes to school requires having 2 school issued uniforms, school supplies, and paid registration fees. The lack of financial resources prevents over 40% of the students currently attending our partner schools. These students are on partial or full scholarship provided through our partnership. e3kids partners with the program to provide money to suppliment teacher's pay, student uniforms, and school supplies. We have also enriched the food for all students attending through the scholarship program to provide better nourishment throughout the learning-intensive day.
