Consolata Community Education Center Construction

Re-building Education in the Heart of Bangladesh,Kenya

UpdATE!

With the generous donations of 21 donors we have been able tear down and build Consolata’s Education Center in Bangladesh slum just outside of Mombasa, Kenya. Their contributions matched by two individuals enabled e3kids to reconstruct the school and furnish five classrooms with chalkboards, fans, and thirty new desks!

On behalf of e3kids and Consolata's Education Center, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable support. We are eager to share with you the transformation your donations have brought to the lives of children in Bangladesh, Kenya.

Over the coming year, we remain committed to further enhancing the facilities of this humble school.

In late 2023 e3kids asked for your help, and you responded!

e3kids is making an urgent and heartfelt plea on behalf of a small school in Bangladesh, Kenya, a slum community outside of Mombasa. Recent flooding has ravaged the school, causing the collapse of its walls and foundation, threatening the education and future of countless children.
By coming together and extending a helping hand, we can rebuild more than just walls. We can reconstruct the dreams and aspirations of these children. Your generosity will not only erect a physical structure but will also reinforce the foundation of hope, resilience, and a brighter future for an entire community

E3kids is partnering with Consolata Education Center in Bangladesh slums to assist repairing the walls damaged by recent flooding in Coastal Kenya.  Education indeed plays a crucial role in breaking the cycle of poverty, especially in the areas like Bangladesh where living conditions are challenging.  Providing secure buildings, desk, chalkboards can significantly contribute to establishing a firmer foundation for education, ultimately offering a pathway out of poverty for many individuals in these communities.

Consolata School serves as a community education center situated in slums of Bangladesh, Kenya, a small yet visionary school, aims to transform society by empowering every child to achieve their full potential through education and social empowerment. Their mission is to foster academic excellence among their diverse student body and cultivate future global contributors. With 150 students and 8 dedicated teachers, the school is resolute in breaking the cycle of poverty through education.

This small slum school encounters various obstacles, primarily due to inadequate infrastructure, limited resources including books, technology, and curriculum. Additionally, a significant number of students hail from families living in extreme poverty, with parents earning less than two dollars a day. This financial strain greatly impacts their ability to afford school fees and educational materials.

To alleviate these challenges, e3kids International intervenes by equipping the school with essential support such as school uniforms, curriculum materials, library books, computers, and meals for both students and teachers. This assistance ensures that teachers can focus on educating students without the added burden of hunger and resource scarcity, enabling a conducive environment for learning.
