e3 Wooden Canoe Race
Participate in the first wooden canoe race on the Rappahannock River. Race participants carve a small block of wood into a canoe, decorate it, and then race it down the river at Old Mill Park. There are race heats for all ages, from elementary school to adult. Winners receive trophies and gift cards from local businesses. Race kits cost $10 and benefit Royal Kids School. During the wooden canoe race, you can tube, canoe or kayak as part of the e3 Riverfloat.

Best of Show Categories
After carving your canoe, you can decorate it and enter it into a Best of Show category to compete for more prizes. Boats must be dropped off by 11:30 am on race day to participate in the judging.
