Julio’s Medical Care

Meet Julio. He loves life and lives ready for everything. He loves people and will strike up a conversation with anyone.

Julio was born with cerebral palsy and hip dysplasia. Normally hip dysplasia is corrected at birth but Julio was born in Guatemala without proper medical care.

He is now 13 years old and facing the reality of losing the ability to walk. We are thankful for the opportunity that Julio has to receive corrective surgery at Shriners Hospital.

Shriners is covering the expenses of the surgery but we are responsible for covering the  travel and other expenses related to his care.  If you would like to help with these expenses you can make a tax deductible donation.

We are seeing friends jump in to help for Julio’s care! Thank you everyone who has given! Let’s keep it up.

***He is almost 30% there!***

Thank you generous people! There were gifts from $25 to $1,000!

As I was stretching Julio’s legs (a daily need due to his cerebral palsy), we got this report, and he broke out saying:

-“May God bless everyone for helping me
with my operation!!”

I love this child’s heart, and I love how generosity isn’t measured by the size of the gift but by the heart behind it.

Thank you for showing your love to Julio!!

We’re making great progress and welcome all our friends to join us in helping bless him by making this possible for him
