Celebration of Reading

This Saturday March 28th at 7pm e3kids supporter, Lena Berrios, is hosting a Celebration of Reading open house. The open house is to raise both awareness and support for e3kids Classroom Library Project, which began in 2014. Royal Kids School does have a full size library, but there still aren’t nearly enough books for the students to read. Our goal at e3kids is to raise $4,000 to set up 8 classroom libraries. This involves preparing the classroom (plastering and painting), building eight bookshelves, and collecting enough books to then fill the shelves. We are greatly in need of books for grades kindergarten through 6th grade, as well as support for the project. So far we have raised around $1,000.

Kheri, a teacher at RKS, will be at the open house on Saturday to speak about the project and how important reading is to the students.

Come join us at the open house from 7-9pm Saturday March 28th.
